KATHY SMITH · BSEE

An electrical engineering degree.
A foundation for better websites.

Kathy holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE). Her engineering education is the foundation of her work for engineering and industrial clients, informing how she approaches technical information, systems, and the people who use them.

She also spent ten years designing software interfaces in the controls industry and has developed more than 200 websites. That experience brings her technical education into practice through visual design, clear navigation, and careful content organization.

Her first website project was an internal, web-based graphical interface for controlling an AI-powered combustion optimization system for boilers at coal-fired power plants. The system was designed to optimize combustion while minimizing nitrogen oxide (NOx) and sulfur oxide (SOx) emissions.

A useful website makes the important details approachable, while giving technical visitors a path to the depth they need.

EXPERIENCE IN YOUR FIELD

Built around the buyer’s questions.

Kathy’s BSEE provides the technical foundation for our industrial website work. We organize capabilities, product lines, and supporting information around the different questions engineers, purchasing managers, and business owners bring to a site.
